Grade 7 Music Program

For course materials, assignment information and all other class information, please consult the items below. Students are also provided with a "Symmes Arts Subject Workbook" at the beginning of the year where all information related to Drama, Visual Art and Music can be found.

In their first year at Symmes Junior High School, grade 7 students have the opportunity to be a part of all three arts subjects offered at the school: Music, Drama and Visual Arts. Each student will spend one trimester in each of the arts subjects as a introduction and 'trial period'. In music, all students will have the opportunity to learn to read basic music rudiments and perform on a wind instrument.
